Pulaski Area Historical Society to Open Time Capsule at Pulaski Museum

Participate in the 10 year time capsule event

Pulaski, WI – The Pulaski Area Historical Society invites the community to a special event as they open a time capsule that has been sealed for the past decade.

The Time Capsule Opening Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, August 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pulaski Museum. (129 W. Pulaski Street in Pulaski, WI)

After 10 years, the contents of the capsule will be revealed, offering a unique glimpse into the past and a chance for the community to reflect on how much has changed—and what has stayed the same.

“This is a moment to reconnect with our history,” said organizers. “It’s about remembering where we’ve been and celebrating how our community continues to grow.”

The event is open to the public at no charge and will include:

  • The official opening of the time capsule

  • Snacks and refreshments

  • Open museum access following the ceremony

Community members, businesses, and organizations are also encouraged to participate in creating the next chapter of Pulaski’s history by bringing an item to be placed in a new time capsule, representing the year 2026 and their organization’s story.

This family-friendly event offers a meaningful and interactive way to engage with local history while creating lasting memories for future generations.
