Pulaski Area Historical Society Invites the Community to “An Old Fashioned Christmas” at the Museum
PULASKI, WI — The Pulaski Area Historical Society invites the community to step back in time and celebrate the holidays at “An Old Fashioned Christmas” on Saturday, December 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Pulaski Museum. The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors will enjoy a nostalgic Christmas holiday exhibit inspired by the 1960s and 1970s, bringing back memories of Christmases past and showcasing the traditions, decorations and holiday spirit of the era.
The celebration will also feature a special exhibit highlighting Palace Recreation, the Pulaski bowling alley once owned and operated by the Prokash family. One of the unique pieces on display is a bar made from the original bowling lanes from Palace Recreation, providing a special connection to Pulaski's past.
Guests can gather around the historic bar and enjoy holiday refreshments and treats while visiting with friends, family and fellow community members.
The Pulaski Museum has also been given a new look and feel, including a new resource area and updates to several exhibits. “An Old Fashioned Christmas” is the perfect opportunity to come inside, see what’s new and rediscover the history of our community.
Everyone is welcome! Bring your friends, family, children, grandchildren, parents or grandparents and enjoy an afternoon filled with holiday memories, local history and community spirit.
The Pulaski Area Historical Society would especially like to extend an invitation to all of our members and volunteers. This event is our way of saying thank you for your continued support, time and dedication to preserving Pulaski’s history.
